Hello there... well lately everybody talked bout cool gadgets... and whats the latest... and bla bla bla.. infact there's something cool hit the town rite now (yeah.. i mean a zillion months ago) : Windows 8 !! omigod... I really keen on it and already put it in my new year wishlist. 

yaaa i know... I need to get a new medium to use this so-called-cool-interface.. So, I google and found this 'oranje evil' - Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13. Nice!! It features Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro with up to 3rd gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor.

Today is Winsor McCay's Little Nemo in Slumberland anniversary. And Google celebrating it with honor by creating this awesome graphic on their webpage... try it on!

A bit of his biography : Winsor Zenic McCay was an American cartoonist and animator, best known for the comic strip Little Nemo and the animated cartoon Gertie the Dinosaur. For legal reasons, he worked under the pen name Silas on the comic strip Dream of the Rarebit Fiend. He was born on September 26,1869 in Spring Lake, Michigan and died on July 26,1934 in Brooklyn (However, his real date of birth & place of birth are uncertain...). My Story : Honey We Rock at Sabah (Day 1)

After 6 months planning... Finally me & hubby are here in Sabah... It is a great city with beautiful island. However, there's some 'deffect' at a very begining of our 2nd honeymoon... We arrived late frm schedule as our flight delay in Labuan. We stuck at Labuan for almost 11 hrs and what MAS had serve us? A lunch box of stupid fried rice with small fried chicken..... OMG! My temperature want to explode already.... Sucks!

So, we spent our time at old town white coffee... Drank for about 4 glass of ice coffee & not to forget dwnloading eveything as OTWC serve a free wifi.. Hahahhahaaha.... That's part for our beautiful journey... Learn from experience.... Thank God, as today we really had a fun & beautiful day in both Mamutik & Manukan island....

I do want to promote this 2 islands to those who planning holiday in Sabah... I tell ya, here are the best island so far in Malaysia that we already went to. Let me tell ya why:

1- both island exclusively beautiful & awesome
2- they've got clean enviro with tip top supervise
3- their service completely awesome & 1st class.... I lov it!
4- the beach really in good hand & we both felt the exclusiveness..
5- the crowd in control
6- the bbq lunch buffet worth your money...

Well..... Come & see yourself. And I believe there are more beautiful island in Sabah. Just choose the best for your budget... Tommorow we will go another great place.... Cant wait but poor hubby. Yeay... it's my birthday! and I'm proud to announce ----> weehooo I'm 30 but not flirty... My hubby was the 1st person to wish me and we celebrated by window shopping at uptown Danau Kota. We shared a tin of 100 plus when the clock reached 12. Hahahahhaha... The program was 'bout to search a most talented listener with their unique & creative talent. Anyway, the winner was a girl & she brings home 50 grand... wow..that's so cool! She just make that unique sound with variety tone... amazing!!

So, when I heard this song its remind me of this program. Kimbra start the show with that unique sound & its really good. Hahahahhaha... I wonder what my hidden talent just to get 50 grand??? ermmm...

The Table !

Last 2 week me + hubby just moved in to a new house... An apartment of 3 bedrooms & 2 bath. Nice residential & green surround! The 1st thing we bought is a dining table. Me myself did few research to find the almost perfecto-table (well... everything not perfect aite?).. ermmm... as always black is beauty ! yet, me still searching for the rite chair to create beautiful piece & satisfy myself.

10 reason to EAT breakfast !

1 - Brain Boosting Power 

     

A breakfast helps you be more focus on works. The fact that you started your day off with just two sips of coffee may be the reason. After a night of fasting, your brain needs a fresh supply of glucose (blood sugar) for fuel. Without it, you'll have trouble processing new information, have issues with physical understanding, and won't remember much

2 - Get Essential Nutrients

 

Your morning meal is fortified with nutrients that your body needs to function healthily each day. Nutrients like foliate, iron, B vitamin, fiber, and other essentials are only gained through food, and while the body can always use its stored recesses to make it to the next meal, that initial burst of essentials is never provided without eating breakfast.

3 - Help Your Heart

 

Making sure to get breakfast in your system does more than keep you awake — it promotes a healthy heart by preventing diabetes and lowering blood pressure. Those who skip breakfast tend to have higher cholesterol levels, a major risk factor for heart disease. A study in the International Journal of Obesity examined the type of foods and specific timing of consumption that resulted in metabolic syndrome characteristics in mice. Mice that were fed a meal higher in fat after waking had normal metabolic profiles, while mice that ate more carbohydrates in the morning and consumed a high-fat meal at the end of the day showed increased weight gain and other markers of metabolic syndromes. Researchers found that the time of fat intake matters; when eating fat early, metabolism worked efficiently and affected the animals’ response to different types of food later in the day.

Even though skipping breakfast is quite common, it is a form of disordered eating. Breakfast literally means breaking the fast, and is necessary in order to jump-start your body. An Australian study found that 13-year-old girls who did not eat breakfast were on average more dissatisfied with their body shape and had undergone more diet regimens then those who broke the fast with regular morning meals. Since skipping breakfast is often about skipping a meal for weight control purposes, it's is a disorderly way of eating.

6 - Enhance Immune System

 

To fight the common wintertime colds and flus, you need to sit down and eat your breakfast. A study in the Netherlands showed that eating a substantial breakfast boosts your body's gamma-interferon, a natural antiviral that directly activates immune cells. Skipping breakfast caused a 17 percent drop in gamma-interferon.

7 - Improve Your Skin

 

Eggs, the incredible and popular breakfast food, do way more than fill you up. No matter how they are prepped, eggs are fantastic for your skin. Lutein, a carotenoid antioxidant found in eggs, helps to preserve the skin's elasticity and protects skin cells from free radical damage. Just one egg a day can boost your lutein levels by 26 percent. There are plenty of other breakfast foods that will do the job as well, like oatmeal, walnut pancakes, and breakfast smoothies.

8 - Keep Yourself Thin

 

This is every girl favorite quote rite? While eating breakfast alone will not help you magically shed the pounds, it may help your emotional relationship with food (and that invariably affects your weight). Prolonged fasting can increase your body's insulin response, which increases fat storage and weight gain. A balance of carbohydrates, protein, and fiber is the key to any healthy breakfast, and eating foods with these components will increase your energy levels. Breakfast was found to supply around 25 percent of people's daily energy expenditure, thus leading to a high-functioning day.

Well.... its depend on what you believe! As for me, I am Muslim so I believe in Allah's will.. Either you eat breakfast or not, we Muslim still 100% believe with Qada' & Qadar. Let's read what the studies had said:

Studies show that people who lived to be 100 years old were consistent breakfast eaters, or consumed breakfast more often than non-breakfast eaters. And thanks to all of the benefits of breakfast, the body has an increased chance of warding off disease.

'IN CAFFEINE WE TRUST'... this is soooooo cool & inspired me to get one as I am a coffee lover... For those who got same passion on coffee will definitely love this coffee chart... we do love either mild... regular or strong flavor! some goes with creamer & some goes with plain which here in Malaysia we call it coffee 'O'.. I did read some misc article in the web had said that caffeine could generate your creativity more than non-drinker! In other hand, most of intelligent people choose coffee over tea... well, i'm not sure but for me, I always start my day with a mug of coffee. It help me to be fresh & lighten my early day..
